Curious about coral conservation and how coral restoration works? Livingseas Asia offers the opportunity to plant 18 baby corals on your own reef structure and take part in two conservation dives. After an introductory dive to familiarize yourself with our restoration site, the second dive will focus on planting corals. You will learn how to attach up to 18 coral fragments to an artificial reef structure called a reef star, while maintaining proper buoyancy. Each hexagonal reef star comes with a bamboo tag that can be engraved with your name, company logo, or anything else you'd like. We will monitor the progress of your reef and share monthly photos with you so you can see how it's growing over time.
Participants can also purchase additional reef star structures for only IDR 450k to increase their impact on the ocean.
